Responsibilities

  • In this position you will be managing the entire process of designing our luxury custom homes from project spec through creating permit set and getting the permits approved with the city building department
  • Research site zoning, analyze site development issues
  • Plan, direct, and manage the activities of architect, project engineers and other consultant to deliver a complete SFR permit set
  • Review and evaluate architectural and civil plans, soil and other technical reports and data
  • Oversee the preparation, submittal, and approval of SFR permit sets as well as land short plats
  • Address corrections from the various city departments (Building, Planning, RoW, Utilities, etc.)
  • Coordinating and obtaining permits from various utility companies (PSE and telecoms)
  • Ensuring meeting the timing deadlines on obtaining permits

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, civil engineering or in a related field
  • Equivalent work experience will also be considered
  • At least 5 years of experience in architectural, civil engineering or construction firm is required
  • Knowledge of residential building codes, building construction, strong understanding of stick-framing is required
  • The ability to read and interpret construction and civil plans is required
  • Attention to detail and strong project management skills are extremely important

Everton Homes, a luxury homebuilder on the Eastside, is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as architectural project and permitting manager. In this position you will be managing the entire process of designing our luxury custom homes from project spec through creating permit set and getting the permits approved with the city building department.
